Functional Job Analysis

Operational Learning Solutions are experienced in conducting job functional analysis to identify specific tasks and major functions carried out by your staff in their job roles.

After the competencies necessary to perform the major functions are identified, those competencies will be analysed to determine objectives for future training and assessment.

The Functional Analysis will provide information on the current level of skills and knowledge of staff in identified roles within your company.

Role Profiling Aligned With TDT Competencies

Operational Learning Solutions consultants can analyse all information gathered from a job functional analysis and identify the alignment of the job role to the appropriate units of competencies contained in the TDT.

This is done by identifying all the competency units associated with a particular job role within your company. These competencies are combined into an occupational profile.

After identification of units of competency for each role have been identified, a profile will be compiled to indicate if sufficient units of competencies may be achieved to meet a level of national certification (eg. Cert III in Rail Operations etc).
